Hollister Knowlton: Ms. Knowlton is a founding member of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting’s Eco-Justice Working Group, former clerk of Quaker Earthcare Witness of the Americas, and a member of the Policy Committee of Friends Committee on National Legislation. Drawing on a deep concern for the earth, she gave up her car and became a vegan in 1994, and took early retirement in 2004 to devote her life to healing the human-earth relationship. See:
